Ambrey Archaeology

About the project

Ambrey Archaeology are an archaeological and heritage consultancy based in Herefordshire, primarily covering the West Midlands, Wales and the South West.

They asked us to design and build a brand new website for their business, outlining their key services, explaining how archaeology and heritage consultancy works for developers both large and small, and introducing them as a team.

We based the design on their colour scheme and logo, and they favoured a vertical navigation on the desktop version, which adds a different look and feel to the website compared to the standard horizontal menu bar.

The lead section on the home page also features a video background that we edited together for them using clips they had taken with their drone.

The design incorporates a lot of written copy, but we also kept it very visual, with lots of great photos from Liz and Tom.
