Arrowvale Group Of Parishes

About the project

The Arrowvale Group Of Parishes encompasses six churches in the North Herefordshire area including Lyonshall, Pembridge, Byton, Staunton-On-Arrow, Shobdon and Moorcourt Chapel.

The Group has a very comprehensive and widely read bi-monthly magazine known as The Messenger, that provides local information to the community including Church news and services and wider community events and advertising.

They also have an active email list so that Reverend Anna can send out weekly prayers and details of services. Several of the Churches are also very active on Facebook.

Their old website had looked a bit neglected in comparison and was in need of modernisation so they asked us to build a new site.

The brief was for it to be colourful and dynamic, primarily focussed on the Churches and work of Reverend Anna, but to also function as a portal for the six communities to find out about local events and news.

We added an events and services calendar, a blog section, a weekly prayers page, and lots of information about the Churches themselves. It also includes the digital download of The Messenger and links up with Anna’s newsletters, the Weekly Pewsheet.

We continue to support the Arrowvale team in updating the website with their latest news, services and events.
