About the project

Luston Parish Council approached us to build their website following Government requirements for all parish councils to display certain financial and regulatory information online (The Transparency Code).

The website plays an important role in providing information to the local community as well as promoting and recording the activities of the Parish Council.

They used this as an opportunity to completely redesign their current website, and wanted something more modern in design as well as mobile responsive. They also needed specific functionality such as automatic feeds of applications from Herefordshire Council’s planning portal and full accessibility functionality.

We provided a full redesign service, with an emphasis on ensuring the new site was easy for users to navigate to the information they wanted to access, and easy for Parish Council members to update.

We worked very closely with the Parish Council to organise the large amount of content, and provided training and support to the Parish Clerk and other Parish members in how to administer the website going forward.
